We have been working very hard in class 4 over the last few weeks to complete the banner for the parade at this years revels! We used collage techniques, painting and a touch of glitter for this Alice in Wonderland masterpiece!

See you on Saturday the 24th June at 12:45 on the green ready for the parade! Don’t forget your costumes!

This afternoon, we were visited by the Croxley and Chorleywood PCSOs. They came to talk to us about anti-social behaviour and its consequences. We learnt lots about what counts as anti-social behaviour such as bullying, graffiti, vandalism and shop-lifting, and the consequences of doing those things including community restoration and service, fines and imprisonment.

They also brought in some police uniforms to try on!

This morning, we all took part in a performance of a play set in the Victorian era. To help us get into characters we has costumes and props, here are some photos of us during the play.

Our topic in art this term is Pop Art and Digital media. We will create all kinds of wonderful masterpieces, but here are a few from today’s lesson.

Over the coming weeks we will be learning all about playscripts. We had a go at creating a performance using one today based on one of Aesop’s fables “The North Wind and the Sun”. Here are some action shots taken during rehearsals.

Class 4 had a brilliant time at the Gurdwara last week, learning all about the Sikh temple and the Sikh faith. Here are some photos from our morning…

Today was world book day and everyone came in wearing brilliant book-inspired costumes! We had everything from Gansta Grannies to Where’s Wallies, and even a few giant peaches! The costume winner for Class 4 was Jai Arora! Well done Jai! Enjoy spending your book voucher!

Here are a few pictures of the fabulous costumes in Class 4! A huge thank you to parents for all your hard work putting these costumes together, today wouldn’t have been possible without you!
